A new way to experience the Circle without committing to a novel! Venice Book Club(VBC)'s Pop-Up Circles are one-night conversations built around a short story, essay, or similar short-sized work. Smaller than VBC's regular Circles and capped at 30 people, these evenings are designed to be intimate, experimental, and easy to jump into. No month-long commitment required. A discussion of an excerpt from of Aja Barber’s Consumed, a critical look at what our clothes cost the planet, the people who make them, and what it means to buy differently. Read the piece beforehand, then join us for a guided discussion with good people in a beautiful space.
