[ARCHIVED] CIRCULAR LIBRARY x Dizzydarns

The visible mending workshop brought the warm maker's circle vibe to the store! People brought their sweaters, jeans, socks, and an eco bag that has so many memories attached. Aliana(@dizzydarns) taught how to use a small loom (‘speedweve’) and all of us transformed one well loved item using colorful yarns. Everyone’s darns came out amazing. 

People were very excited to learn this simple yet beautiful skill that they can use in any location like while traveling (in the car, train, and airplane!), friends’ house, at the park, or even camping! 

Aliana introduced a craft thrift store Remainders Creative Reuse Store where you can find lots of cool craft supplies (including yarn for darning) at affordable prices. And also, she hosts a biweekly makers circle called Roving Social Club, which is open to everyone who wants to craft in a community setting.
