Workshop Date: August 24 (Sat.), 3:30-6:30pm

Price: $65

Partnered with: Matt Vazquez www.instagram.com/milky.matt

Matt is a tattoo artist with a passion for exploring various art forms. During the COVID pandemic, he became intrigued by screen printing but lacked the tools and patience to create even a simple design to put onto clothing. To overcome this, Matt asked his brother to teach him lino cutting. Watching him meticulously carve images into pink rubber and witnessing the entire process was a revelation.

Description: Have you thought about designing your own print? This workshop will walk you through the process of making a lino print. With pre-made design (by Matt) or your own, we will carve it in a lino block together! Matt found lino cutting to be incredibly therapeutic and deeply satisfying. Hope you guys find it to be the same. You can use stamps for so many different things! Clothes, wrapping paper, mail etc.

* All DIY materials included in ticket price
* What to bring:
- Make sure to print out your own image if you decide to bring your own. Max size is 4x4 (inches). The design will be easier to work with/cut if it’s high contrast (like some of Matt's work).
- Bring an iPad if you have one (it’s not required) but would be easier to work with.
